... the deep confines of my room, that is. Hello everyone, my name is Macadamia. You can also call me "Mac" or "Maca" if you wish. I stumbled across this site almost randomly, and I wish to show it some looooooooooooove~ I would also like to know when is an appropriate time for me to start applying for a character, and what exactly is this "Ye Olde Shop" topic is that I see (and why it's pretty much empty). I do hope to have a happy RPing with you all here~ EXCELSIOR! ~ Macadamia

Oh, and also to add to that, where may I locate the story of this RP Site's setting? Or, if there is no official thread with the setting, can someone give me a quick summary of what it's like?

Hello, Mac! =D It's good to see some new members here! ^^
Ye Olde Shop is basically a place where members can create their own shops, be it AMV-making, writing, drawing, avvies/siggies, layouts, whatever you wish to sell. You can set a price for these things to sell, and when people buy them, that gives you more money to spend in other shops. I hope that sums it up for you!
And the site setting isn't fully decided, I guess you could say. We have no plot- basically, everything goes. I suppose you could say I was tired of having to adhere to all these plots for fantasy sites, and I just wanted a place for people to RP freely without a plot they don't like getting in there way. That isn't to say the members can't create their own plots, though- we've had many plots throughout the years, some involving all of the members (just due to the sheer awesomeness we possess).
I'm really glad to see you here, and I can't wait to talk to you more! ^^

Thanks, Bob, I'm just about done with my character...! Just one last question: It's about the "Character Journal" part if the forum. Because my character is going to be a merchant, could I possibly post (and update) the items for sale in her cart there? And, if so, how may I do that whilst adhering to the template that you set up? Don't worry if I can't, I always have a Plan B.

Oh, no, you don't have to follow those templates. Those were simply a way for me to keep track of how I would reply with all my different characters. No, to post up a cart, you would just post it up in there however you wish. ^^ Sorry for the confusion.
