It took a while, but Lilium finally got out of that God-forsaken forest. Falladah had gotten some bruises on the back of his feet, as a result from a few too many stones that grazed along the edge of his horseshoes. Lilium had to tie some medicinal herbs to his legs before she left him in the public stable to set up her stall in the marketplace. The sun was still up, although it had gotten considerably cooler. Lilium only had a few original wares of hers on display: healing potions, mana potions, a basic wand or two, plus a couple other little trinkets that were already in her cart to begin with. Most of the things she was trying to get rid of were the bartered items. You see, when she gives a price, she places a monetary value alongside the option for a barter trade. Sometimes, it ends up well. A butcher might give her his best meats, or a noble might give a piece of jewelry. Other times, a blacksmith would give her pieces of armor, or a few goats. I mean, what was she supposed to do with a goat anyway? Nevertheless, she laid out a few things that she was more than wiling to get off of her back: a few odd daggers, some chain-mail, and an unidentifiable potted plant that seemed to refuse blossoming under her care. She did not know what else to do with it... It seemed healthy, and would probably make a nice decoration for an old lady. " Well, here we go again..." she sighed under her breath, beginning to serve customers.

Ace hummed as he walked through Grui Village. He was told to kill... He was told to kill... Someone. He was told to kill someone who's name he couldn't remember. However, he was almost POSITIVE that if he asked around, SOMEONE would know.
"Excuse me, sir, but do you happen-" He started, but the man- who was trying to sell something, of course- interrupted.
"How would you like to be the owner of a brand new-"
"Aha, no, sir, I'm fine." Ace raised his eyebrows, backing away slowly. "Truly. I'm just fine." Just his luck, he happened to bump into someone else.
"Hello, there, Mister," A feminine voice greeted. "I don't think it's a coincidence we bumped into each other, is it? She got up in his face. "Could it be fate?"
"Uh, no," Ace chuckled, finding himself backing away once again. "No, ma'am. It must have just been a coincidence."
He walked away before she said anything else, grumbling to himself. "What is WITH this place?"
Suddenly, his eyes caught another pair of violet eyes, and he beamed, skipping up to her. "Why, Miss Lilium!" He grinned. "It HAS been a while, wouldn't you agree?" He took in her appearance once again, stunned. How could one girl be so beautiful? MY NOTES
Ah, not my greatest... Then again, I never write that great. *sigh* Oh, well, hope it's okay. Although I'm sure your perfection handles everything, eh? XD

Lilium was in the middle of polishing one of the daggers when a familiar voice sounded in the midst of the cacophony that was the marketplace. She looked up, surprised and almost shocked to see a familiar brunette boy with violet eyes bounding up to her, looking about as pleased as a peach. It was cute how he seemed so happy, and Lilium had to admit that it was admirable. He reached her stall in what seemed like a heartbeat, extending her a friendly greeting.
"Ah, who do we have here?" she said rhetorically, smiling jovially. "The stranger from the Deryt Forest...!" She put the dagger back down on the table, leaning over a little in a low bow, as a polite vendor should. "Mister Ace, always a pleasure."
Lilium walked round the side of her stall, leaning on it a little so that she would not seem the two inches taller than him that she really was. There was something oddly magnetic about this man, and Lilium could not help but allow her smile to grow just as widely as his.
What could she do? It was contagious.
"So," she finally giggled lightly. "What brings you to this part of town? A little post-wayward shopping? I do hope you haven't gotten pick-pocketed already."

"Ah, who do we have here?" She said. "The stranger from the Deryt Forest...!" Ace grinned as she bowed slightly. "Mister Ace, always a pleasure." His grin grew ever larger- if possible- as he noticed her lean on the table slightly so she wasn't taller than him. "What brings you to this part of town? A little post-wayward shopping? I do hope you haven't gotten pick-pocketed already."
Ace glanced around. "Well, I don't believe I have anything worth pick-pocketing!" he exclaimed, but his hand went down to the sword around his narrow waist. "And, no, I don't usually shop. Well, not in Griu, anyway." He chuckled. "I had a job to do here, and I completely forgot what to do!" He leaned closer to her. "Is there someone who lives around here who makes a habit of bothering people?" MY NOTES
Wahh! So sorry it took me this long. School started, so I've been busy. Hope it isn't TOO bad!

Lilium watched in amusement as Ace checked himself anyway, just in case those overly skilled street rats managed to make off with his sword or something. He said he was there for a job... a job that he could not remember very well, apparently.
She chuckled at his question. "I think that half the salespeople in this marketplace make that habit..."
Her smile hung for a while as his words began to sink in to her skull. There was a pause as her face grew serious, her brow furrowed, and her eyes narrowed.
"And what does a bothersome person have to do with your job, Mister Ace?" she looked into his mildly mesmerizing violet eyes. "I'm beginning to become curious about what exactly your job is over here..."
Something just seemed a little suspicious about a fairly well-built young man coming into town with a sword... looking for people to complete a certain job that they cannot remember... or at least, he makes it look like he cannot remember...

Ace watched as her expression grew serious and she said, "I'm beginning to become curious about what exactly your job is over here..." Ace chuckled. "Being nosy?" He teased, then shrugged. "I don't know. People ask me to do something and I do it. Although, this time, I can't remember who- I mean what- I'm supposed to be doing." He beamed. "Remember the forest? See, I forget things and get lost very quickly. I believe that when I was a young child, I was cursed into a forgetful life..." His smile disappeared. "But my mother always told me that she dropped me on my head."
